This business has been here for decades. As the world change, it's nice to see a business that stays true to it's roots and is a staple in the community. They keep it simple and it's great to see how they're training their new employees over the years to match their high service and attention to detail.

Mattern’s is top notch. Stopped by for a quick bite to hold me over for dinner time and ended up ordering more than I anticipated due to the wonderful women that were working that provided great recommendations of food to try. I got the pork chop sandwich, which they give you the entire pork chop (bone included), the polish sausage sandwich, macaroni salad, as well as some Jalapeño cheese and salami slices. Finished it all off with some Apple Strudel. Great customer service, will definitely be back!

Awesome sausages, the kindest staff. They suggested the perfect options for our kiddo and everything was fresh and flavorful. Not a big fan of the desserts but I’m not a big dessert person.

Visited at 3:30 on a Wednesday and there was still a line. Excellent sign ;) but Orders went fast. The pastrami was almost buttery and very mild. The mustard was almost like a dijonaisse. Perfectly complimented the Pastrami. And then the Rye bread - fresh. It was Truly an excellent sandwich. We also really liked German Potato Chips. We will be back. Unfortunately our photos were mobile so they don’t do it justice.

Fantastic place for lunch and deli products. Went today for Krugerman Pickles, Black Forest Ham, and German Potato salad. Great location and German Products. So good. Also grabbed a sandwich for lunch.

Pretty authentic German pork and veal meatloaf. We need it for Maultaschen. The leftovers we add to homemade tomatoe soup . So good!!

If you’re looking for a good European bratwurst or sausage, this is the place for you! They’ve got amazing quality meats and even original German beer to go with it. Super friendly staff, very clean, and just an overall great vibe. Feels like a little taste of Europe right here, highly recommend!

Amazing Reuben sandwich, probably the best I have ever had. Perfect harmony of pastrami, cheese and sour kraut. Staff is very friendly and knows their sandwiches well. Can't wait to come again with a cooler to grab some sausage for cooking at home.
